With the announcement of a papal parade, Washington D.C. now has a shot at seeing Pope Francis for free as he travels via his popemobile along 15th Street, NW, Constitution Avenue, and 17th Street, NW.

Access to the viewing area will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, spectators will be required to go through security. Gates to access the viewing area will open at 4:00 AM and will close at 10:00 AM. No one will be admitted into the area after that point in time. Once inside the perimeter, attendees will not be allowed to leave and re-enter.

This story makes reference to the Pope’s visit in DC to “St. Patrick’s Cathedral”. But that is in New York.
The church in DC is “St. Patrock’s Parish Church” not a Cathedral.
